See It in Action – Packed & Ready for Adventure!

Here’s a quick look at me packing it up!

It can give you a great idea of the pockets, storage space, and how it fits in real life.

Of course, everyone packs differently—this is just one way to load it up.

However you organize your gear, this bag is built to handle it all.

5 Key Features for Every DM’s Needs

Spacious Main Compartment

Fits 7-8 D&D books, plus a laptop, binders, and notebooks—because we all know one rulebook is never enough.

Battlemat Secure Storage

A tightening pocket + adjustable strap on the right side keeps your rolled-up battlemat locked in place, so you’re always ready to set the scene.

Dedicated DM Screen Pocket

A large but slim compartment protects your DM screen, laptop, or campaign notes—ensuring quick access to your secrets behind the screen.

Foam-Padded Minis Storage

The top compartment features custom-cut foam. No more broken minis on the way to battle!

Room for Everything Else

With 10 compartments (not including netted pockets), there’s plenty of space for dice, markers, props, and whatever else your campaign demands.

Even better than I expected

The description of the DM bag did not do it justice. Everywhere I looked, I found another place to hold something. The straps are comfortable, and make it easy to carry my DM supplies, including quite a few books. Glad I ordered it.

Amazing!

This bag is so cool. The amount of pockets is insane. The material is super nice. The shipping was super quick. So excited to give it to my DM husband for his birthday.

Good bag if you have a lot to carry.

I am GM strictly at a local game store, so I usually have a lot of stuff to carry. I cant tell you how many bags I've gone through, or how many I've bought that simply did not work. Backpacks especially.
This one works pretty well. I like the leather-like feel. I also like that the books lay flat rather than sitting on their edge. I usually carry miniatures in a plastic storage bin with a steel sheet in the bottom, and magnets in their bases. The pack works well for when I might not need to carry so many. I like that the front pocket has a magnetic closure, so I can get at a few things without having to undo a zipper.
Price wise, it seems a little expensive, but is comparable to most any nice bag specifically made for the hobby.
Most of the issues I have with it are just personal. Some of the pockets open in weird ways, but that's just because Im used to regular packs with top opening pockets. Mine was missing the nylon strap and clip on the side for securing a playmat/map. I guess I could find a hook and loop strap that might work. I like to add metal pins, etc to my packs, but I feel like they wouldn't work well on this one. Poking holes in the waterproof leather-like outside just seems like a bad idea. The backpack straps are soft, but they are lightweight and I fear if there is a weak point in this bag, that will be it. The pocket on the very bottom was wadded and folded up in shipping, there is no real support in it, so unless it is packed full of something, its not going to maintain its shape. The GM screen pocket is the same-the bottom was rolled up to the front of the pack, and it will not maintain its shape without something very stiff to hold it.
Overall these are minor details, but they do keep it from being perfect in my opinion. Any bag for our purposes is generally going to be a compromise, and this one is as well. It is nice to be able to carry most everything in a backpack, and not have to rely on multiple packs, or a large rolling bag, which is what I use lately.

Who is Armor Class?

THE ORIGIN STORY

Hi, I’m Mathias, founder (and one-man army) of Armor Class.

I started this store after struggling to get into Dungeons & Dragons due to shyness and insecurity.

I created tools for my group to make the game easier, and soon realized they could help others too.

My mission is to help new players and DMs feel more confident and immersed in the game.

I hope you find something here that can make your next session even more fun
